We’ve been fortunate to travel to some amazing paces and stay at both all inclusive and regular luxury resorts and, if your travel plans include Mexico, you would be hard pressed to find comparable service, luxury, location and ambiance at this level, period. The only 2 places that would have an edge in terms of service are Four Seasons and St Regis but those will easily be double or more in price. The people there work very hard to make sure you feel taken care of, albeit it is true that it helps if you voice a concern to more than 1 person. We had several mishaps that were fixed, including one of our own making with our daughter losing here AirPods- they did a great job in finding them and retuning them to us. Yes, we did have “Find my” turned on but you could easily imagine something like this disappearing in Mexico outside the resort boundaries and good luck trying to retrieve them. We had restaurant reservations made before we go there and found it was difficult to try to change on the spot- agree with the other review that mentioned it was tough to find something open the same day. You could however order room service and the food was very good so, don’t agree that with the comment that you would not be able to eat if you couldn’t secure a restaurant reservation. All in all, we would return to to this place - great value. It can always be improved but good enough to make us want to come back and we are not the kind to return unless we would love it.

Travelled from May 18- May 23, Great resort!...Cozy & quiet, I travelled many places in Mexico & Caribbean and by far this hotel is the best. The views at night are unreal, the food is exceptional, the rooms and hotel vibes are awesome...but most importantly the staff are the most people pleasing I have ever encountered from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out...Special shout out to some of the pool guys, Eduardo, Zenon & Leonal...great work everyday...Thanks Big Papi!!

We had such a great time on our get away. Grand Velas was beautiful, clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The dinner restaurants were top notch compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. The breakfast and lunch options could’ve been better but still found stuff we liked. The area is safe and we walked to local taco shops that were incredible. Spa services is pricey but well done. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!
