Kite Crafting Workshop Now Offered for Kids At Mexico’s Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
Riviera Nayarit, Mexico (February 1, 2018) - The Kids' Club at the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit now offers a fun new activity for children: Kite Crafting. Held every Monday and Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m., children ages 4 to 12 years old can create their own kites using Chinese paper, wood chopsticks and yarn. Glitter and stickers of the resort's monkey mascot Pancho are available to decorate the kite masterpieces. Once the kites are dried, families can fly their kite in the garden area.
Kite crafting is just one of the activities that Grand Velas offers young ones in its complimentary Grand Kids program. Piñata making and other arts and crafts, sports like soccer and kickball, feeding the fish, treasure hunts and mini disco complete with a disco ball and strobe lights and more are also offered. Trained staff is on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A playground and a children's pool are also available.
