Designed to renew one's body and mind in every way possible, twelve new Wellness Suites at Mexico's AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit debut in October with a plethora of fitness and wellness amenities for travelers seeking an all-encompassing wellness retreat.
Upon arrival to the two-floored, 1750 sq. ft. suite, a personal Spa Concierge provides counsel on a wide-variety of available spa treatments - many with local influences in mind, health offerings at the resort, a special soap selection, and information on the wide variety of in-suite fitness amenities, which include an in-suite exercise kit comprised of a yoga mat, dumbbells, resistance bands, and even a Life Fitness Activate Series Recumbent Lifecycle® Exercise Bike. Made for various types of healing and created from a combination of local Mexican plants, flowers and seeds, the Manos que Curan soap bars are available in cucumber and cactus, amaranth, and mint scents. After the intro, guests are whisked to the upper terrace of the suite where a relaxing massage with views and sounds of the Banderas Bay await. When it comes time to lay down for the night, an Alchimia Apothecary Aromatherapy Kit with scents ranging from cedar and lavender to tangerine and myrrh affords the essential oils needed to experience total relaxation at night. Accommodations also feature a Nikken Kenko™ pillow, comforter and LED Lamp with a clock and timer that increases gradually, simulating the dawn and dusk, which helps guests fall asleep and wake up more naturally.
Throughout one's stay when it comes to cuisine, extra healthy dishes are notated on the resort's menus in addition to a crudités minibar with carrots, cucumber, jicama, celery, beetroot and pineapple insuite. The twelve Wellness Suites at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit make their debut in late October, followed by two Wellness Suites at sister property Casa Velas completed by the end of November.
