Reservations are required at our three upscale restaurants - Piaf, Lucca, Frida and Sen Lin - where you can enjoy globally-inspired cuisine and beautiful views. You do not need to make advanced reservations at our more casual eateries, including Azul, Koi Sports Bat or Selva del Mar.

In general, there are two main seasons in Riviera Nayarit. The rainy season runs from May through mid-October. The dry season runs from mid-October through April. During the rainy season, guests can expect frequent heavy rain showers on most days, with showers typically in the late afternoon and lasting only a few hours. If you are visiting during the summer, afternoon showers cool down this 200-mile Pacific coastline, giving travelers a break from average temperatures of 90ºF. 

The best time of year to visit Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit is between April and June when the weather is pleasant. During these months, the rain is scarce and there are fewer tourists and crowds. If you're interested in whale watching trips, the best time to see these amazing creatures is from January to March.
