My family and I just returned from an incredible 9-day stay at this resort, and we truly can’t stop talking about how wonderful the experience was. We traveled with our 3-year-old, and it was hands down one of the best resort vacations we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the personal touches and attention to detail were exceptional and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The pool area was absolutely stunning, the beach was beautiful with soft sand, the rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, and the food in the restaurants was outstanding. What really set this resort apart, though, was the staff—consistently attentive, warm, and professional. Our concierge, Ramon, was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Gustavo and Eduardo went above and beyond, frequently checking in on us at the pool and beach to ensure we were completely taken care of. And a special shoutout to Patricia and Kena—they were AMAZING and made sure our drinks were always full and our smiles even fuller! A few helpful things to know before booking: • If you arrive late in the evening without dinner reservations, the only option is room service. While convenient, the room service food didn’t quite match the exceptional quality of the restaurants. • The oceanfront suites are absolutely gorgeous, but they can be quite loud at times. There are occasional private beach events, and the setup and breakdown can happen late at night or early in the morning. Light sleepers or families with young children may want to keep this in mind. • Very minor note: the pool bar doesn’t open until 11am, so early-morning mimosa lovers should plan accordingly 😉 Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We will absolutely be back and are already looking forward to exploring other Velas properties in the future!

This was the most AMAZING experience I have ever had at a resort. The staff were phenomenal and the service was impeccable. Moncerrath and Perla took such amazing care of us the entire time. The food in all the restaurants was so so so good and the drinks around the resort were always DELICIOUS. We were here to plan our wedding for next year, and now we are even more excited to come back! Thank you to everyone who made this such an amazing experience! This is a MUST stay!
